In ambito industriale, i condensatori svolgono funzioni critiche: filtrano le armoniche nei circuiti di potenza, compensano il fattore di potenza negli impianti di distribuzione, gestiscono le scariche nei sistemi di commutazione ad alta frequenza e supportano l&#8217;alimentazione nei picchi di carico.<\/p>\n    <p>La scelta del tipo giusto \u2014 condensatore a <strong>dielettrico solido<\/strong> (ceramico, poliestere, a film) o <strong>elettrolitico<\/strong> (alluminio, tantalio) \u2014 dipende dalla tensione di lavoro, dalla corrente di ripple, dalla temperatura operativa e dalla frequenza dell&#8217;applicazione.
