Solid-state relays and switches
A relay is a remote switching device: it receives a low-power control signal and switches circuits, including high-power ones, without physical contact between the controller and the load. Unlike traditional mechanical switches, solid-state relays have no moving parts—which translates into extremely fast switching times, no mechanical wear, and a long operational life, even in high-frequency cyclic applications.
